• Provide the service — running AI-powered interview practice sessions, generating feedback, and displaying your skill profile.
• Account management — authenticating you, resetting passwords, and communicating service-related updates.
• Waitlist management — processing your waitlist signup and notifying you when access becomes available.
• Product improvement — understanding usage patterns to improve features and fix issues.
• Legal compliance — meeting our obligations under applicable law.

4. Third-Party Services

We share data with the following categories of service providers, solely to operate the platform:

• Cloud infrastructure & hosting — Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database & authentication), Google Cloud Platform (file storage).
• AI processing — Google Gemini API for generating interview questions and evaluating responses. Video/audio recordings and response transcripts may be sent to Google for processing.
• Email delivery — Postmark for transactional emails (waitlist confirmations, invitations, password resets).

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on servers operated by our service providers, which may be located outside Taiwan (including the United States and the European Union). We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, and secure authentication.

While we take reasonable steps to protect your data, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. If you request account deletion, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it longer.

Waitlist data for users who never create an account is retained for up to 12 months, after which it is deleted.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data.
• Object to or restrict processing of your data.
• Request a portable copy of your data.
• Withdraw consent at any time where processing is consent-based.

Under Taiwan's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), you have the right to request access, correction, deletion, or cessation of processing of your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@skipinterview.ai.

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), you also have rights under the GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

8. Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

9. Children's Privacy

Skip Interview is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

四、第三方服務

我們僅為營運本平台之目的，將資料分享予下列類別之服務提供者：

• 雲端基礎設施與託管——Vercel（網站託管）、Supabase（資料庫與身分驗證）、Google Cloud Platform（檔案儲存）。
• AI 處理——Google Gemini API 用於產生面試問題及評估回答。影音錄製內容及回答逐字稿可能會傳送至 Google 進行處理。
• 電子郵件寄送——Postmark 用於寄送交易型電子郵件（候補確認、邀請函、密碼重設）。

我們不會將您的個人資料出售予第三方。

五、資料儲存與安全

您的資料儲存於我們服務提供者所營運之伺服器，伺服器可能位於臺灣以外之地區（包括美國及歐盟）。我們採用業界標準安全措施，包括傳輸中加密（TLS）、靜態加密、存取控制及安全驗證。

儘管我們已採取合理措施保護您的資料，但網際網路傳輸方式無法保證百分之百安全。建議您為帳號設定高強度且獨特的密碼。

六、資料保留

只要您的帳號仍處於有效狀態或為提供服務所需，我們將持續保留您的資料。若您要求刪除帳號，我們將於 30 日內刪除您的個人資料，但法律要求我們保留更長期間者除外。

未建立帳號之候補名單資料將保留最長 12 個月，届期後刪除。

七、您的權利

依據您所在之司法管轄區，您可能享有以下權利：

• 查閱我們所持有之您的個人資料。
• 請求更正不正確之資料。
• 請求刪除您的資料。
• 反對或限制我們對您資料之處理。
• 請求以可攜式格式提供您的資料副本。
• 於處理係基於同意之情形下，隨時撤回同意。

依據中華民國《個人資料保護法》，您有權請求查閱、更正、刪除或停止蒐集、處理及利用您的個人資料。如欲行使上述權利，請寄信至 hello@skipinterview.ai。

若您位於歐洲經濟區（EEA），您亦享有歐盟《一般資料保護規則》（GDPR）下之權利，包括向當地資料保護主管機關提出申訴之權利。

我們僅使用身分驗證及工作階段管理所必要之 Cookie。我們不使用追蹤型 Cookie 或第三方廣告 Cookie。

九、兒童隱私

Skip Interview 不適用於未滿 16 歲之使用者。我們不會故意蒐集兒童之個人資料。若您認為有兒童向我們提供了個人資料，請與我們聯繫，我們將立即刪除。

十、本政策之變更

我們可能不時更新本隱私權政策。如有重大變更，我們將於本頁公告更新後之政策並更新上方「最後更新日期」。您於變更後繼續使用本服務，即視為接受修訂後之政策。
